Join RIGHT NOW and dm me "😉" for a surprise 😅 (don’t tell my mom pls) About me: For most of my twenties in Taipei, I lived my life on autopilot. I had the "sensible" corporate job in consulting, the tidy spreadsheet of five-year plans, and a constant, quiet feeling that I was living someone else’s life. When I hit thirty, the comfortable floor fell out from under me with a sudden layoff. It was terrifying, but honestly? It was the permission slip I never knew I was waiting for. In 2022, I packed two suitcases, left behind everything familiar, and moved to the US to start completely from scratch. I didn't choose the fast-paced energy of New York or LA. Instead, I ended up at a quiet, unpretentious college tucked into one of the smaller inner cities of America. At thirty-five, I’m currently grinding through a professional degree in Sustainable Interior Architecture. Most days, you’ll find me covered in drafting pencil smudges, wrestling with building codes, or hunting through local architectural salvage yards on a very real student budget. This space is my open diary of what it actually looks like to hit the reset button in your thirties. No smoke and mirrors—just late-night studio sessions, transforming modest rental corners into calm sanctuaries, mastering American idioms while simmering traditional herbal broths, and learning to embrace the messy, beautiful art of starting over. If you’ve ever felt like it’s too late to redesign your own life, I’m here to prove that chapter two is where things actually get good.
