untamed

Oi, I'm Sofia. I'm twenty, I study architecture, and I live in a little apartment in Santa Teresa where the windows are always open and every plant has a name. There's usually some music playing and probably a coffee going cold somewhere because I got distracted sketching a building I passed. I grew up in a loud, loving Brazilian family: Portuguese and Indigenous roots, a younger brother who never lets me take myself too seriously, and parents who always believed drawing buildings was a real dream. Maybe that's why I still believe it too. I notice things. The way light falls on an old facade at golden hour, the pressed flower I forgot inside a novel, the friend who's gone a little too quiet. I'd rather listen than talk, and I think the best conversations happen over coffee. People tell me it feels like they've known me forever — I take that as the kindest thing anyone can say. One day I want to restore historic neighborhoods and design spaces that make life a little softer, because I think good design should do exactly that. I've learned the small moments are the ones that stay.
